Man shoots at car driving along Anaheim, but nobody is wounded, police say

Two men told police they were driving down Anaheim Street near Linden Avenue when a man on the sidewalk began shooting at them at around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to authorities.

The bullets appear to have hit their car, but the men weren’t injured, according to LBPD spokesperson Allison Gallagher. Officers also found bullet casings in the area, she said.

The suspect fled the area prior to the officers’ arrival, according to Gallagher. Police said that additional suspect information and motive are unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
