Shots fired from car near Long Beach Senior Center

Officers were dispatched to 4th Street and N. Franklin Place in the North Alamitos Beach neighborhood for reports of shots fired shortly before midnight on Friday, police said.

“Once on scene, officers located a female adult victim who stated shots came from a car,” police spokeswoman Arantxa Chavarria said in an email.

Officers found evidence of a shooting, but no injuries were reported. Police are still investigating, but do not have a vehicle or suspect description yet.
