Two men were stabbed during an argument and fight at an East Long Beach park, authorities said today.
The stabbings happened at 5:35PM Sunday at Wardlow Park in the 3400 block of Stanbridge Avenue, Long Beach Police Lt. Omar Martinez said.
An argument escalated into a fight between “several subjects” at the park, leading to the stabbings, Martinez said. An unknown number of male suspects fled the scene.
Both victims suffered non-life threatening wounds to their torsos, he said. Paramedics took one man to a hospital and a friend drove the other man to a hospital for treatment.
The stabbings may have been gang-related but the investigation continued, Martinez said.
