Window shattered, no one hurt in Central Long Beach shooting Thursday night

Long Beach police are investigating a shooting that left a window shattered in a Central Long Beach home Thursday night, officials said.

Officers got a call about shots fired in the 2300 block of 17th Avenue at about 8:40 p.m. There they found a shattered window in a home in the area, police spokeswoman Arantxa Chavarria said.

They checked on other the homes in the neighborhood but found no one injured from the shooting and no reports of injuries. Police do not yet have a suspect description or motive for the shooting, Chavarria said.
