A woman was arrested on charges of assault with a firearm at 6th Street and Cedar Avenue in downtown Long Beach this morning, officials said.
According to Long Beach Police Department Spokeswoman Nancy Pratt, police were dispatched at 7:05AM to the area, responding to a report of a person with a gun. Further information indicated a woman had pointed a gun at a person.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 40-year-old Jaime Lynn Grib of Los Angeles to have a replica firearm in her possession. She was promptly taken into custody, according to Pratt.
Grib is being held at the Long Beach City Jail on $50,000 bail.
