A woman was hospitalized after she was shot in the city’s Washington neighborhood Saturday, according to the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).
Police were called to the 1500 block of Cedar Avenue at 1:57AM on Saturday, October 1 regarding a report of a gunshot victim, said LBPD spokeswoman Marlene Arrona.
Authorities found the woman with what appeared to be a non-life threatening injury to her lower torso, she added. Long Beach Fire Department (LBFD) personnel transported her to a local hospital.
