Long Beach police surrounded a home in the Wrigley area after a man brandished a gun during an argument with a neighbor Tuesday morning, according to authorities.

Police said they headed to the area a few minutes before 8:30 a.m. and set up a perimeter. They started searching for the man and soon got him to come out of a nearby home, according to authorities.

The man listened to police’s commands, and he was taken into custody “without incident,” LBPD spokeswoman Jennifer De Prez said.

Officers evacuated at least one residence, but De Prez said there didn’t appear to be any danger to the public.
