Just three years after purchasing it and less than two months after losing the Long Beach mayoral race, Damon Dunn has put his luxury condo at 400 West Ocean Blvd. up for sale.

Screen Shot 2014-08-14 at 10.06.56 AMThe 3 bedroom, 3 bath condominium sits on the 23rd floor of the downtown high rise and houses 1,760 sq. ft. of living space. Dunn had purchased the condominium for $600K in 2011 after he had moved to Long Beach from Irvine; the listing went up July 28.

When Dunn had announced his mayoral campaign in January of 2013, questions about his ability to run a city he had only lived in for a short period were raised. He had stated that he moved to Long Beach to closer to his family in LA County.

Dunn and his supporters insisted that having “a love for this city and a love of people” is more important than “how long you’ve lived here.”

It is unclear as to whether Dunn is looking for another home in Long Beach or elsewhere, as he has yet to return a request for comment on this story.
