People fill Downtown Long Beach at last year’s Latin American Parade & Festival
 
2:30pm | The 3rd Annual Latin American Parade & Festival is expected to draw thousands to Downtown Long Beach for a celebration of Latin American culture this Saturday, September 10. The Molina Family will lead the parade as Grand Marshals and local art expert Gregorio Luke will serve as Community Marshal. 

The parade will include decorated floats, classic cars, dance groups, community organizations and musical performers.
 
Parade spectators are invited to become a part of the show, following behind the final entry until it reaches the festival area. The festival will feature numerous vendors, including plenty of authentic Latin American cuisine from countries such as Mexico, Peru, Honduras, El Salvador and Puerto Rico. Live performers will entertain the crowds from two stages. The festival will be emceed by Latino 96.3FM’s Raq-C.

The parade starts at 3:00pm at Pine Avenue & 6th Street. The spectator area and emcee/announcer booth are located at Pine Avenue and 4th Street. The festival is at 4th Street and The Promenade. Cameras are welcome.
