Two women were hospitalized Tuesday night after the car they were traveling in crashed into a bus stop and then an antique store in Long Beach’s Wrigley neighborhood.

The circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately clear, but police say it happened before 7:50 p.m. in the area of Willow Street and Magnolia Avenue.

Police say the woman was driving a vehicle in the area when she crashed into the bus stop and then the Magnolia and Willow antique store before coming to a stop.

Both the driver and passenger were transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported as the bus stop and business were both unoccupied when the crash occurred, police said.

The driver of the vehicle, meanwhile, cooperated with the investigation, police said.

Magnolia and Willow opened Wednesday, though a large part of the wall along Willow Street was covered by plywood.
