Two earthquakes struck about four miles west-southwest of Huntington Beach, one on Sunday night, one early Monday morning, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS). 

A magnitude 2.6 earthquake occurred Sunday around 10:45PM, and was considered weak by people responding to the USGS’ “Did You Feel It?” forum. A second earthquake struck at about 3:40AM on Sunday.

Both earthquakes were felt near Huntington Beach, Seal Beach and Long Beach, with no damage reported.
