Beginning this Sunday, September 16 at 11PM, the eastbound SR-22 connector to the northbound I-405 freeway will close for 12 months. The connector must be reconstructed in order to accommodate the new I-405/I-605 carpool connector.
The Orange County Tranportation Authority—which is in charge of the entire West County Connectors Project—recommends the following detour:
