Police are seeking help today in locating Jose Salazar, an 82 year-old Long Beach man who was last seen in Signal Hill on Friday afternoon. Salazar requires medical attention and may have the early signs of Alzheimer’s disease.
Long Beach Police Department said in a statement that Salazar voluntarily left his house in the 1000 block of E. Market St. Friday morning and was last seen later that day in Signal Hill. He is described as a 5’6″-tall Latino man weighing 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved dress shirt and blue jeans. No photo of Salazar was available.
Long Beach police asked anyone with information regarding Salazar’s whereabouts to call them at (562) 435-6711.
