Erin Earlywine Vince

A wife and mother of two this California girl started volunteering for Children Today after college by planning special events and fundraisers (where she even met her husband Barry at an event held at the nowclosed Smooths). It was there she started her personal mission to help the kids and adults of Long Beach get healthy and be fit by establishing TRYFIT, exemplifying her passion for healthy living and an active lifestyle through community outreach.

“If I had my way there would be free bootcamps all over the beaches and parks of Long Beach and everyone would just get moving. I just love an active lifestyle — and that includes wine!”

Currently, she is working on Children Today’s 4th Annual Children Today 5K/10K Run Walk as well as the upcoming The Long Beach Killer Bee Junior Triathlon Club. The latter was developed to teach youth fundamental life principles and discipline in fun ways through the sport of triathlon, with “Bees” ranging in age from 7 to 15. Of course, she’s competed in over 20 (yes, t-w-e-n-t-y) triathlons and given that she plans on racing well into her 90s, it shouldn’t be shocking she encourages everyone of all ages to partake in the most disciplined of health activities.
