This past Sunday morning, a black Toyota 4Runner carrying five passengers rolled at the Ocean Boulevard onramp to the 710 freeway, ejecting a female passenger.
The accident occurred at around 1:55AM and when Long Beach Police and Fire officers arrived, they discovered that four of the passengers needed to be sent to a nearby hospital, with three in an unknown condition and one with minor injuries.
“There were five people inside the car. One person was ejected and two self-extricated, but two were trapped inside,” said Long Beach Fire Department spokesman Matt Dobberpuhl. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to remove the two passengers trapped.
As of now, there is no formal explanation for the accident and the investigation is ongoing.
