The Long Beach Police Department issued a warning yesterday that they have not yet caught a serial flasher that in multiple incidents exposed himself to teenage girls as they walked to school earlier this year. Though there have been no reported incidents with the flasher since June 1, with school back in session today, police believe that he may strike again and are urging the community to be alert.

In each reported case, the victim was a middle or high school-age girl either waiting at a bus stop or walking to school when the suspect approached the curb in his car and asked for directions. As the victim looked into the car, the suspect exposed himself to them.

Descriptions of the suspect say that he is a white or Hispanic male, 20 to 40 years-old, 5’8″ to 5’10” and approximately 160 pounds with black hair. His car is described as an older model four-door black sedan, possibly a Honda Accord, with black and silver rims that have a red or pinkish color on the rim or tire.

Anyone that has also been a victim that has not reported the incident to police or recognizes the suspect and/or vehicle description is asked to contact Long Beach Police Department’s Sex Crimes Detective Louis Galvan at (562) 570-7368.
