10:45am | One of California’s most distinctive food trademarks will make a big splash in Long Beach next weekend when more than twenty food trucks participate in the Long Beach Street Food Fest on Saturday, July 24 at Rainbow Lagoon Park from 10:30am-5:00pm.
Food trucks have boomed in popularity and become one of Los Angeles’ most distinctive aspects in recent years, whether serving up kabobs, tacos, fried chicken or even gourmet Greek.
For the ticket price of $6, you can sample some of the area’s best while listening to live music from Delta Nove and Blue Steel in the oceanside Rainbow Lagoon Park.
Whether you’ll be in the mood for grilled cheese sandwiches, pizza slices, a Mexican/Chinese fusion or even desserts like ice cream (cones or sandwiches), it’s all there at the Long Beach Street Food Fest next weekend. The event is hosted by the Long Beach Junior Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation and proceeds will benefit the Adopt-A-Teacher Program at local elementary schools, student scholarships at Long Beach City College and other education opportunities for Junior Chamber chapter members.
