2:35pm | The Long Beach Housing Development Company (LBHDC) and The Los Angeles Neighborhood Housing Services (LANHS) will be holding two free two-hour clinic conducted in English targeted to homeowners who are or will be experiencing challenges with their loans.
This event allows distressed homeowners the opportunity to meet face-to-face with a Counselor from LANHS, a HUD-approved counseling agency. CHASE Bank, Bank of America, GMAC, and Citi Mortgage representatives will also be on-hand to meet with those who have mortgage loans with their banks.
Those attending will be asked for information on their existing loan(s) such as balance, interest rate and payments, as well as questions regarding income and budget information.
This month, the clinic will be held on Wednesday, August 17, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Community Grace Brethren Church at 5885 Downey Avenue, Long Beach 90805.
In September, the clinic will be held at Antioch Church of Long Beach at 1535 Gundry Avenue, Long Beach 90813, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM on September 21.
