Just three months after being rushed to the hospital for undisclosed reasons, the mother of legendary rapper Snoop Dogg, Beverly Broadus-Green, died on Oct. 24.
A viewing for Broadus-Green was held on Sunday, Nov. 7, at Long Beach Colonial, and the funeral took place on Monday, Nov. 8, at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood.
Broadus-Green raised her children in Long Beach and made lasting relationships with the community. Co-Owner of DreamKreators Studio Rhonda Love, met Broadus-Green while working in the mayor’s office. On The Word on Long Beach Podcast, Love spoke about how much this city meant Broadus-Green and how much she will be missed.
