A Long Beach homeowner’s garage was destroyed by a fire Monday morning, but no one was injured, fire officials said.
The Long Beach Fire Department (LBFD) responded to a dispatch call at about 6:20AM regarding a garage fire at the 1200 block of Roswell Avenue.

The fire came from a detached garage at a resident’s home on Roswell Avenue in Long Beach’s Eastside Neighborhood, according to LBFD spokesman Brian Fisk.
Firefighters made quick work and extinguished the fire before it spreaded to the occupied home adjacent to the garage, Fisk said.
No one was displaced from the occupied home and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
