Light bars on an ambulance.

A 17-year-old girl who was fatally injured while riding on a speeding motorcycle involved in a three-vehicle crash on the 91 Freeway in Long Beach was publicly identified Sunday.

The girl was identified as Katilyn Hahn, according to the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner. The agency had no place of residence for Hahn.

The crash was reported at 1:32 p.m. Saturday on the westbound freeway at Downey Avenue, California Highway Patrol Officer Stephen Brandt told City News Service.

Witnesses told the CHP the motorcycle was traveling at high speed when it collided with a black Dodge Charger and a gray Subaru, leaving two riders down in the No. 2 lane.

Hahn was pronounced dead at the scene, Brandt said. It was unclear if she was driving the motorcycle or was a passenger.

Paramedics took another person to a trauma center for treatment, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatch supervisor.
