Hundreds of families and several thousand people are expected to attend the Long Beach Fitness Festival on Saturday, September 19  from 8:00AM to 7:00PM at the Marina Green, just off Shoreline Drive.

Brought to you by Legendary Competitor, an event company that hosts athletic events aimed to bring out the best and healthiest competitor in you, the fitness festival will feature an entire day filled with various health, fitness, and fun activities for the entire family. This will be the second year the event has taken place on the Marina Green.

During the festival, attendees can join the 5K run, while kids can try out their running abilities during the 1K fun run designed especially for the young ones. Competitive events include the “Dynamic Duo” Team Fitness Competition and Powerlifting competition.

Fun obstacles courses, nutrition and health-related expert-led panel discussions, yoga and hip hop demonstrations, great food, a beer garden, a ton of health-minded vendors, music from the stage and an awards ceremony for competition winners will fill the day.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the official Charity Partner of the fitness festival. The organization’s mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better. The Bigs and Littles will be out in full force at this event, volunteering and having fun.

The Long Beach Fitness Festival is, according to organizers, expected to draw a grand total of 3,000 people of all ages and all fitness levels out and about to seek and embrace a healthier lifestyle.

Tickets are $15 per person over 10 years of age for access to the competitions, vendors, fun zone, beer garden and affiliate area, however all beach activities are open to the public and do not require admission.
