The 11th annual Holiday Cheer fundraiser will be held this Thursday, December 4th, benefiting Children Today, which provides free childcare and education to children experiencing homelessness. The event will begin at 6:00pm and feature a large auction with travel and entertainment items up for bid. It will be held on the 15th floor of the Arco Towers in Downtown Long Beach.
“Holiday Cheer is an opportunity for the Long Beach community to address an issue that is very much a community issue,” said Theresa Bixby, Children Today Vice President and Co-Founder. “We must all come together to support and educate children without homes in Long Beach.”
All proceeds will support programs at Children Today’s two Long Beach locations. The event includes dinner served by Thank Goodness It’s Sofia, and complete event information and tickets can be found at childrentoday.org or by calling Miles Nevin at 562-432-1224.
