The streets of downtown Long Beach last night were flooded with marchers in an attempt to draw attention to the plague of domestic violence that exists in the city. More than 250 people participated, according to organizers. Su Casa and the Women Shelter of Long Beach combined to host the event, which cleverly aimed to shine light on a problem that thrives in darkness and silence.
