Belmont Shore’s Second Street was packed Sunday, as car enthusiasts roamed the road to admire more than 500 classic cars on display and wax nostalgic on the old days of the auto industry—all as part of the 27th annual Belmont Shore Car Show.

This year, the event had a special 9/11 remembrance ceremony in the morning in front of Fire Station 8, featuring Mayor Robert Garcia, police Chief Robert Luna and fire Chief Michael DuRee.

The ceremony featured wreaths and a large piece of the World Trade Center.
