The Longines Masters of Los Angeles has finally arrived at the Long Beach Convention Center, and the Long Beach Post had the privilege of experiencing a comprehensive preview of what guests should expect this weekend, including an eclectic equestrian-related shopping, dining, and lifestyle experience as well as the magestic creatures themselves.

New this year to the Longines Masters of Los Angeles presented by EEM—one of the most prestigious equestrian events in the world—will be a polo exhibition. The set-up of the multi-day event will also allow for guests to view riders as they warm up right before the competitions.

“Thats the EEM brand,” said EEM spokeswoman Marissa Brooks. “We want to grow the sport of show jumping and really give you the chance to to experience what these riders go through as athletes.”

In addition to the competitions, guests will be able to shop in pop-up high-end shops including Sam Edelman, Hermes and Mark Cross, and check out fast cars provided by Lamborghini, and even observe local art courtesy of the Long Beach Museum of Art.

“You’ll not only see our partners but you’ll see people from the industry, people from local art museums and for us what’s really really important is being a part of the L.A. community, being a part of Long Beach,” Brooks added.

At LBMA’s exhibition booth, guests will be treated to work from multiple artists including local self-taught artist Lori LaMont who painted a horse plastered with multiple equestrian-related brands for the Longines Masters.

“It’s an honor to be here and knowing the sport and having it in our hometown is so great and so exciting,” said LBMA’s Executive Director Ron Nelson.
