Sheriff’s detectives asked for the public’s help today to find an 85-year-old man suffering from dementia who went missing in Lakewood.

Daniel Quesada was last seen Thursday around 6 p.m. leaving his home in Lakewood, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Grace Medrano.

He was driving a red 2015 Honda Accord, license number 7LUY040, Medrano said. The vehicle was last spotted in the Seal Beach area early Friday.

Quesada is white, stands 5-feet-8 inches tall and weighs an estimated 169 pounds, Medrano continued. He has gray hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a dark blue polo shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call the LASD’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
