Long Beach’s Gay & Lesbian Center are hosting their first annual State of the Center Breakfast, this Saturday, from 9:30am – 11:00am , at the Great Hall in First Congregational Church.
A good friend of mine, Angel Macias, who is the Development Manager for the Center has invited me to attend. She passionately describes the program as a great way for the Long Beach community to learn about the many programs and events that take place at the Center.
The event will also feature testimony and stories from youth who benefit from the Center’s career training programs and social services.
We are lucky that Long Beach is a diverse city and supports a place that assists our Gay & Lesbian community.
