Long Beach Transit announced today that you can now plan your public transportation options throughout Long Beach on Google Transit. The new Long Beach Transit service provides easy trip planning including walking directions to a specified bus stop, which route to take, where to get off the bus and walking directions to a final destination. One way fare and driving cost are also displayed for comparison.
“We welcome this new product that encourages the use of public transit, and believe our customers will find this tool very helpful to plan their transit needs,” said Renee Simon, Chair, Long Beach Transit Board of Directors.
