The Long Beach Unified School District has announced the launch of its new website, along with 84 new websites for each school within the district.
On Tuesday, the fleet of new websites went live for the district, which has some 65,500 students across Long Beach, Signal Hill, Lakewood and Avalon on Catalina Island.
“We are excited to introduce our new school district website! Our goal is to make it easier for you to access important information about our schools and programs,” district officials wrote in an emailed announcement.
Officials said the district’s new website will offer a user-friendly interface with a wide range of visible resources and information, including district news and events, an A to Z index, enrollment information, an LBUSD events calendar, a school and staff directory, district policies and more.
The district is urging the LBUSD community to provide feedback on its new district and school websites. Visit the website and provide feedback here.
