For the fifth consecutive year Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) donated a portion of its profits from The Pink Party to the Center Long Beach’s Youth Program. This year the event raised a little more than $4,000 for the Mentoring Youth Through Empowerment Program (MYTE), which is committed to improving the quality of life for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth by providing a safe, affirmative environment for peer interaction and by enlisting informed, productive and positive role models.

“The Center Long Beach facilitates a number of valuable programs and services, and the DLBA is proud to once again donate a portion of the proceeds from our annual Pink Party event to the Center’s Mentoring Youth Through Empowerment Program,” said DLBA President and CEO Kraig Kojian.
