Through a generous donation of county funds through Supervisor Don Knabe’s office, The Center will be offering a free lunch buffet on Thanksgiving Day.

“Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what we are most thankful, but also a time to extend a helping hand to our neighbors,” said Knabe when speaking to the Post. “The Center Long Beach has done a great job working to provide a sense of family for the residents of Long Beach. I am proud to support an organization that does such incredible work and makes sure that the needs of the community are met.”

To be hosted at The Center’s Daryl Fine Room, the menu will feature the classics: turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, salad, dessert, and beverages.

“If you find yourself with nowhere to go on Thanksgiving we welcome you to spend some time with our family as we share some holiday joy,” said Ron Sylvester, President and Chairman of The Center. “We are also very fortune to have Supervisor Knabe thinking about the needs of our community during the holidays.”

The Thanksgiving luncheon will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM this Thursday, November 22 at The Center, located at 2017 E 4th Street. RSVP with Natalie by calling 562-434-4455 ext. 244 or by email at [email protected].
