Tonight’s address marks the midway point of President Obama’s term, and promises to focus on job growth and cost-cutting. The Washington Post today reports that Obama will propose a five-year freeze on non-defense government spending in an attempt to reduce the growing budget deficit.
He’ll face a tougher crowd than in 2010, as Republicans now control the House.
Our live stream and discussion last year generated hundreds of comments, and this year participants won’t have to worry about one issue that caused several complaints: Comments that you leave on the live stream will not automatically post to your Facebook profile if you do not wish.
