Over the weekend, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger re-appointed local realtor Helen Najar to the Commission on Emergency Medical Services, which Najar has served on since 2005.
Since 2003, Najar has been a realtor, affiliated with RE/MAX College Park Realty and for over 25 years has been a partner with Falcon Security Systems, a family-owned business. Additionally, she has been a marketing and communications consultant for over 20 years.
Najar is a commissioner for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services and a member of the board of directors for the Community Hospital of Long Beach and Operation Jump Start. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no salary.
