Condé Nast Traveler magazine has ranked Long Beach Airport (LGB) one of the best airports in the U.S. for the third consecutive year, the airport announced today.

With this year’s vote, LGB also ascended through the ranks, jumping from 10th to seventh place, according to LGB.

“As the gateway for thousands of visitors to our city every day, Long Beach Airport provides a unique and welcoming experience for travelers,” said Mayor Robert Garcia in a statement. “This recognition from Condé Nast Traveler confirms LGB’s stellar reputation is well deserved.”

In their annual poll, the travel magazine’s readers gave LGB a score of 77.92, praising its 1940s terminal and passenger concourse, pushing it up in the ranks and setting it apart from other airports on the list.
