Over the past week, Long Beach and its residents have shown their holiday spirit in a wide variety of ways. Diana Lejins was on hand to capture many of those magical moments.
Last weekend, the Long Beach Police and Fire Departments each held their own toy deliveries, caravanning a truck-full of presents from house to house to make holiday visits to neighborhood children – accompanied by friendly carolers, Bart Simpson and Santa himself.

Likewise, the LBFD held their fourth annual “Spark of Love” event at the Aquarium of the Pacific last Thursday, hosting a special day for needy families and handing out gifts that had been donated or collected since the beginning of December.
