6:15pm | The Long Beach Junior Chamber will host a membership mixer for all LBJC members and anyone who is interested in becoming involved with the organization tomorrow, Wednesday, June 22, at Dogz Bar and Grill from 6 to 8 p.m.

In addition to the mixer, the evening will feature as the guest speaker David Zaid, who is slated to discuss leadership and international relationships. Zaid was recently appointed as the new principal at Long Beach Unified’s Stevenson Elementary School. He  was recently named as the 2011 recipient of the 100 Black Men Award for Education. A community service advocate, he speaks to large organizations about professional development and leadership training.

Dogz Bar and Grill is located at 5300 E. Second St. Drink specials will be available.
