1:04pm | Long Beach native Clara Druzgalski, who graduated from UC Irvine in 2010 with degrees in materials science engineering and mechanical engineering, has been awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
Druzgalski is among 13 UCI students to win the fellowship, which funds three years of graduate study at $40,500 per year toward a master’s or doctoral degree in science, engineering or social science in the United States or abroad.
Druzgalski is currently a graduate student at Stanford, where she is studying mechanical engineering.
