UPDATE: Missing man located at hospital

UPDATE | Detectives were notified on Friday that Gerard Felix was found at a hospital in a neighboring city receiving medical treatment, police said.

6/24/20 at 2:14 p.m. | Authorities today are asking for the public’s help to find a 63-year-old man who walked away from a home in the Los Altos neighborhood.

Steven Gerard Felix was last seen on Tuesday at about 5:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of San Vicente Avenue, near Stearns Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

“Felix cannot remember addresses and gets confused with orientation,” a police statement said.

Felix is white, 5-feet-9 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black nylon zip-up jacket, black Adidas sweatpants with white stripes, and a dark gray Nike shirt. He has a tattoo on one arm of Felix the Cat with the word “Felix” beneath it.
