4:15pm | The Long Beach Police Department released a statement today stating that a bank robbery occurred at the US Bank at 555 E. Ocean Boulevard on January 15. The suspect entered the bank and when he reached the teller, he presented a demand note for cash and threatened with the use of a weapon. After obtaining cash, he fled from the location on foot northbound on Atlantic Avenue.

The suspect is a male (unknown race) with a medium complexion, thin built, approximately 5’6 and between 18 to 20 years of age. He was wearing eyeglasses at the time of the robbery. Investigators believe he may be responsible for other similar bank robberies in the Los Angeles area.

US Bank is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
