It’s common knowledge that Long Beach commonly poses as other cities for filming purposes. I once ran into the cast of Dexter at The Yard House, and friends of mine have been updating their Facebook profiles all week with tales of running into Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd on Pine Avenue.
Today, the hit CBS show CSI: Miami – which commonly uses Long Beach’s palm tree-lined shorelines to portray Miami – is filming an episode along the peninsula that will likely air sometime this December. Of course, by then they’ll have added that weird orangey-grain effect that CBS loves to use, but the setting is unforgettable. These photos, taken by Charlotte Knapp, show leading man David Caruso and the rest of the cast along Alamitos Bay. I’ve never been to Miami, but it’s good enough to fool me!
