3:00pm | Four years ago, the Long Beach Post launched online with a mission to provide news in an innovative and informative format. We are proud to announce that the first edition of the Long Beach Post print publication is available at more than 200 locations.

The Long Beach Post in print will always be a product of our online version, not the other way around. In other words, we include exclusive print version stories, but we will also rely upon our online publication to recap the month’s most important headlines.
We have a starting circulation of 25,000 copies and have targeted downtown Long Beach and the Broadway and Fourth Street corridors for this launch. For the first six months or so, we intend to publish monthly, then twice a month. If that works out as expected, we will publish more frequently. Distribution locations will increase over time with a goal of eventually covering the entire city.
As I said in February, the Long Beach Post will continue to grow in scope, reputation and accessibility because of a desire to provide Long Beach with the quality media coverage that it deserves.
We are no longer curious about its potential. Now that we understand it, we owe it to ourselves, you and even our critics to realize it.
We are moving forward, and we are taking you with us.
