A “reawakening of the Long Beach Gay & Lesbian Film Festival,” the Long Beach Q Festival kicks off Friday and will run through the weekend at the Long Beach Downtown Library Auditorium.
Sponsored by the Gay & Lesbian Center of Greater Long Beach, the festival will present several short and feature films related to the event’s theme of building the queer community in Long Beach.
The festival will provide one of the largest LGBTQ communities in the country an opportunity to see queer films, meet filmmakers and meet other movie fans in their own backyard.
The Auditorium is located at the Civic Center Plaza, 101 Pacific Avenue. Parking is available in the Civic Center parking structure at 333 West Ocean. Enter the parking garage from Broadway between Chestnut and Cedar.
