9:18am | Three suspects have been arrested for stealing Christmas gifts out of a Long Beach home earlier this week, after an alert neighbor witnessed the theft and notified the police.
Ronney Stevens Jr., 18, a 14-year old and a 13-year old were apprehended after officers responded to a call of burglary in progress in the 400 block of Coronado Avenue around 3:30pm on Tuesday. They set up a perimeter with the help of K-9 units and Air Support and located two of the suspects with gifts in hand. The third suspect was found a short time later. The stolen property was returned to the homeowner.
Stevens Jr. was arrested for residential burglary and an outstanding warrant. The two minors’ names are being withheld but have also been arrested for residential burglary.
