After a sunny and cool weekend, Long Beach can expect another rainstorm starting Sunday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters expect Sunday to be mostly sunny with a high of 59 degrees until the afternoon when a 5 mph wind will start blowing. After 10 p.m., Long Beach will have a 50% chance of showers with a low temperature around 45 degrees and more wind.

Monday morning will bring a 70% chance of rain and 10 to 15 mph winds with gusts as high as 25 mph. Temperatures are expected to reach a high near 56 degrees, according to NWS. Monday night is expected to be breezy with 30% chance of showers and a low around 44 degrees.

The NWS expects the rest of the week to be sunny with temperatures in the low 60s.
