The Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) is hosting a contractor outreach fair tomorrow at McBride High School from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, officials have announced.
LBUSD Environmental Project Manager Jackie Roberts said the event was to raise awareness and spread information about the bidding process on 12 LBUSD construction projects.
“This is to provide information on how they can actually win bids,” said Roberts.
Roberts said invitations were sent to local contractors and encouraged them to bring additional contractors. The meeting will go over wage, insurance and upcoming projects, as well as provide informational pamphlets and allow the contractors to network with each other.
