A 24-year old man is dead after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to his torso last night.
Comontray Lenoir of Los Angeles was killed in the courtyard of a North Long Beach apartment complex during a shooting that occurred around 5:30pm Tuesday. The apartment complex is located in the 2700 block of E. 57th Street.
Lenoir was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is the seventh shooting murder in Long Beach since August 18 of this year, the majority of which have been investigated as gang-related.
Police have no suspects or motives for the shooting at this time, although they are investigating the shooting as a gang-related crime. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact detectives William Matsubara and Todd Johnson at 562.570.7244.
