Police say a man died this morning after crashing a motorized scooter along Seventh Street in the Rose Park neighborhood.
The crash happened shortly after 8:35 a.m. on Seventh Street near Orizaba Avenue, according to Long Beach police.
Police said the man was riding the scooter westbound on the north sidewalk of Seventh Street when, for unknown reasons, he lost control and crashed, police said.
He was taken to a hospital, where he died, police said. His name and age were withheld pending family notification.
