A man who was shot and wounded in broad daylight Monday was still hospitalized and in critical condition today, police said.
The shooting occurred about 12:45PM in the 1400 block of Cherry Ave. just above Anaheim St., where responding officers found the victim lying on the ground, said Long Beach police Sgt. Aaron Eaton.
No arrests were reported and the suspect is still at large. It is unknown if the shooting is gang related.
