Sunday morning, an early-rising barbecuer suffered second degree facial burns following an unexpected flash explosion that set a fire in the rear of his home.
Long Beach Fire Department authorities responded to a call shortly after 6AM near the 400 block of East 63rd Street.
According to LBFD spokesperson Will Nash, the victim chose not to go to the hospital and the fire was quickly extinguished.
